introduction
When I was in high school I wrote serial comedy and drama series There was my own version of Star Wars that featured my school mates in all the roles. Then there was a soap opera that ran for about 50 episodes called 'Student'. The soap was based on the TV show Prisoner/Cell Block H. The students played the parts of the prisoners and the teachers played the parts of the prison guards. I have kept the exercise books that I wrote the wrote the Star Wars stories in and the typed pages of Student. One of these days I will go into the garage and try and find what box they are packed away in and maybe publish them again.
I have been keen ever since to write another series serial, there have been many false starts but now in 2010 I think it's time. I have two serials in mind, both of which have been floating around my mind and my hard drive for a while. It will take me aa bit of time to get ready and actually sit down and start writing them. Having said that, I would like to give you a preview of both ideas. If you would like to be involved in writing, suggesting characters/plots etc or you have an idea for a different serial then please let me know.
BeryTown
BeryTown is a small country town located between Efnetville and Dalnet County. It is your typical country town with Police, Church, Airport, School House, Corner shop, Newspaper, Town Hall, Radio Station, Butcher shop, Restaurants/Snack Bars, Harbour, Library, Abba Tribute band and lovely houses, mansions and farms. Is Berytown really a typical town?
The town is inhabited by many people, some appearing to be a sandwich short of a picnic. The town if nothing else is extremley polite, everyone always says Thank you and Welcome Back when anyone returns. Berytown has a long, interesting and mysterious history stretching back to the middle ages when The Bery Tribe and King Edwards Army fought a holy war over if Green or Red Berys were best type of Bery.
Anyone that lives or stays in town for more then a few days develops a mysterious red rash somewhere on their body but no one knows exactly why. The dreaded red rash appears inexplicably only at certain times of the day. No one kows what causes it
Guest House
The Guest House is a block of units in the town MurrayBrook. Guest house tells the story of the day to day lives and loves of the residents of the guest house as well as it's connection to one of the most powerful and rich families in town.
